As supplied this material is non-hazardous for disposal. May be used as a bio-diesel fuel. Dispose in compliance with relevant regulations for pollution and waste.

Zerust® ™ 46-Bio is a bio-based, sprayable corrosion inhibitor
preservative-lubricant to stop rust on iron and steel, and other corrosion on
aluminum and its alloys. This easy-to-use product is made with renewable
agricultural vegetable oils, and provides environmental benefits for responsible use
and disposal. It contains no petroleum distillates, making it less flammable than
mineral oil-based corrosion protective compounds (CPC). Protection period is for
up to three months outdoors, one year indoors, and over five years when used in
conjunction with packaging material, such as LDPE or aluminized film.
Axxanol™ 46-BIO provides multimetal corrosion protection for steel, aluminum,
and other typical alloys. The material meets requirements of MIL-PRF-3150
preservative-lubricant except that its lighter viscosity (ISO-46 centipoise) is
optimized for use with compressed air sprayers. It can also be dip coated, brushed
or wiped onto surfaces to leave a thin transparent non-tacky film.
Axxanol™ 46-BIO has also demonstrated favorable performance as a cleaner
lubricant-preservative (CLP) for military applications when compared with
qualified MIL-PRF-63460 CLPs used with weapons and artillery. This experience
extends its usefulness to for firearms and similar high-value complex metal assemblies.

ZERUSTt® AXXANOL™ 46-BIO IS IDEAL FOR PROTECTION OF OBJECTS WITH EXPOSED BARE METAL SUCH AS TOOLS, VEHICLES, MILITARY AND FARM EQUIPMENT. IT IS ALSO IDEAL FOR LUBRICATION AND CORROSION PROTECTION OF CABLES, COILS, HINGES AND CASTORS.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Make sure that metal surfaces are clean and free of contaminants such as dirt, oil, fluids, etc.
2. Apply a thin coat of Zerust® Axxanol™ 46-BIO to parts using pressurized air or airless sprayer or other light misting, brushing or dipping methods.
3. Allow excess Zerust® Axxanol™ 46-BIO to drain, drip off, or wipe off excess with a clean lint-free cloth. The product will leave behind a thin corrosion inhibiting residual film that will provide full protection.
4. Use in conjunction with packaging film, such as LDPE, barrier material for a more robust solution that protects parts from corrosion for five years or more.
Storage: Keep containers closed when not in use. Store out of direct sunlight in a cool environment. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Notice: Since product is a bio-based vegetable oil some darkening of the product color may occur when it comes in contact with light and air. Discoloration will not affect product performance.
REMOVAL:
Axxanol™ 46-BIO is easily removed with detergent* and water. Always check with your customer to see if removal of Axxanol™ 46-BIO is required prior to the use of the protected parts.
